Happy 59th birthday, Tom Bodett! Though he’s best known for his role as the Motel 6 spokesman—Bodett’s been doing commercials for the budget hotel chain since 1986—he’s also a novelist and essayist.

      Thank you, Michelle! I didn’t know that he was even a writer. As always, thank you for stopping by. I’m trying to bring in Spring with some uplifting pictures–just need the sun to shine so I can get them.
