Alien Sunflowers (Weekly Photo Challenge: Texture)

Happy Sunday!

Popping in to say hello during a brief summer hiatus. My dear friend Christy over at Running On Sober posted a photo last night and participated in the Weekly Photo challenge: Texture.

She needs to take more photos, don’t you think?

Her “Forever in Blue Jeans” pic was so good, I was inspired to pick up my camera iPhone and look at some of my own.

“This week, share a texture found in an unexpected place. It could be made of natural materials, as in these images, or with man-made objects.”

Here’s my humble nod to the weekly challenge. The same sunflower from different angles using the sharpening feature in the Snapseed app. An Instagram buddy told me that #3 looks like the surface of “some weird planet.”

I can dig that.

  1. Wow, those are fab shots!

So glad I inspired you to post 🙂

    Love love love sunflowers!

  2. I don’t know how you get such amazing photos…you have a real gift, Michelle. You really do.

    • Awwww…thanks, Paul!
The gift is the subject that God has naturally provided. I think that’s why I love to photograph flowers–nature’s frosting on top of a yummy cake.
Your words mean the world to me. Thank you!
      Michelle

  3. These photographs are great. Now what’s wrong with an iPhone picture, again? 🙂
