Like a honeybee beating on my screen door,
I got a little buzz and my head is sore,
And from my bed I can feel the sun,
Lord I hear the morning come.
Just a creepin’
Creepin’, creepin’, creepin’.
You shot outta hell like a bullet from a gun,
A flip of a switch,
A thief on the run,
And since the day you left me baby,
I can feel the lonely,
I can hear the crazy.
Just a creepin’
Creepin’
Just a creepin’
Creepin’
Head for the future,
Run from the past,
Hide from the mirror,
And live in a glass,
What dreams forget the whiskey remembers,
Kinda like molasses in late December.
Just a creepin’
Creepin’
Oh, creepin’
Your cocaine kiss and caffeine love,
Got under my skin and into my blood,
That need you back comes over me,
Like ivy crawlin’ up a hickory tree.
Just a creepin’
Creepin’
Just a creepin’ creepin’
Creepin’
Head to the future,
Run from the past,
Hide from the mirror,
And live in a glass,
What dreams forget the whiskey remembers,
Kinda like molasses in late December.
Just a creepin’
Creepin’
Ah, come on!
Just last night I saw the light,
At the end of that tunnel on the other side,
Thought I found my way outta this pain,
Only to find your memory train.
Creepin’, creepin’, creepin’, creepin’…

I love this post, Michelle. Your images punctuate the words perfectly. 🙂
Thank you, Angela!!
Beautiful pix. I love them all, but I think 3 is my favorite.
And damn you and your Claimin’ :-p
I’m a claiming Mo-Fo!
Thanks for stopping by dear friend.

I’m in love with that song! Now stop making me listen to countryish music – my rep is taking a beating here 😉
Love the track pictures too, Christy thinks 3 is her favorite, I think 2 is mine.
Don’t worry about your rep…it will always precede you 🙂
BUT, just for you, I have a decidedly rocker song in line for the Brave post tomorrow.
I’m glad you liked #2 as I wasn’t quite sure about that one. I played with the focus and made it a little more artsy than I had intended. It’s a wonder I ever get anything done around here.
Thanks for stopping by dear friend.
xo
I can’t even pinpoint what I liked more about #2 than the others. I related to it more, somehow, though again I couldn’t pinpoint the why lol
I wasn’t sure if Brave was going today or tomorrow, when I got home this afternoon I was like, bummer, gotta wait for tomorrow!
I’m nervous about Brave tomorrow. Christy held my hand last time and hasn’t even looked at it this time (cuz I threatened). I probably made too big a deal and now it’ll disappoint. Oh well…at least the pictures will be awesome (Muhahahaha!!!)
Michelle, I can’t imagine anything you write not being great.
I’d tell you not to be nervous but, that whole pot.kettle.black. thing and I hate to be a hypocrite 😉
